Fritz and Karin Pawelzik

Fritz Pawelzik was born in Dortmund , Germany on December 2 1927 to Jewish parents Anna and Hermann Pawelzik who migrated to the Ruhrgebiet (Germany) from Poland - he had one younger sibling named Eva - both father and son were sent to concentration camps - Fritz Pawelzik was freed by the Russian military - in 1958 Fritz Pawelzik married his wife from Finland named Karin (nee Wolff dob 05/10/1930) and together with their newborn daughter they moved to Ghana West Africa - Fritz Pawelzik worked as a social worker for the YMCA and Karin worked as a dentist - another daughter and son soon followed - they continued their work in Africa and moved to East Africa specifically Kenya - they retired in 1978 - Fritz and Karin Pawelzik both died in 2015 ( in Germany and Finland )
