In the quaint town of Ludington, I am known as an artist with a penchant for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. With a Master of Fine Arts in painting and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in furniture design, my artistic journey has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences and influences. Since the early 90s, I've dedicated myself to repurposing unused objects, a passion ignited in the Marine Corps. There, amidst the discipline of service, I first began to see the world in a different light – discovering beauty in the most unexpected places.

My artistic journey commenced in a modest manner, crafting furniture from discarded pallets. However, from these unassuming beginnings, a new perspective blossomed. I learned to cherish the intricate details of everyday objects, finding delight in the act of creation. Whether it was sculpting delicate flowers from strands of cable wire or fashioning geometric patterns from discarded materials, I took pleasure in the process of breathing new life into the overlooked.

Today, my work defies conventional boundaries, as I apply my bricolage mindset to a series of paintings using recycled objects. Each piece narrates a story of transformation, urging viewers to reconsider the beauty of the mundane. Through my art, I strive to debunk the myth that creativity is a privilege of youth, advocating instead for its integration into all facets of adult life.

Join me through unconventional mediums and techniques where creativity knows no bounds. Together, let us rediscover the joy of creation without inhibition, embracing curiosity and exploration in art and life.
