Maitera elementary school was the best school ever in sub zone Senafe. The trees give much colour, school field and the teachers were great.

Students of maitera elementary school were effortlessly watering the trees in the school every morning. The trees were planted since 1992. School director teacher Bahta Girmay was the key man in the foresting the school. He was a generous, sympathetic and effortless man who was willing to help the students in their class. By the time he was finished teaching the school start deteriorated. The trees started to die and falling down as no one was caring them. He created a soccer team that was winning the league in the sub zone Senafe.
