From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My name is Sheryl. I was born and spent my first 30+ years in California (San Francisco Bay Area). As an adult, I have lived in Southern Oregon, Central Illinois, Northern Minnesota, and now Central Florida (and no, I am not retired and I do not play golf). I am a writer, editor, and researcher with over 30 years’ experience as an independent consultant. I have written for a wide range of industries, including engineering, statistical, reliability, and probabilistic risk analysis firms. I have also taught English (from basic grammar through literature courses) in a university and community colleges and have publishing, very basic website development, and (now) a tiny bit of Wikipedia experience.

NOTES:

I am a fairly new user. I created one article, about a writer (William Scott Home), but I am not proficient in computer languages and programming jargon, so even the help pages have often left me confused. Sorry — I write for a living, but mostly on Macs, so much of the "help" isn't terribly helpful. Writesheryl (talk) 12:50, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
