Chilton edits

[edit]

Hi, further to your question at the Teahouse I have re-formatted the first reference using the "cite web" template. When you make any edit, as you know, the editing box opens. At the top of the editing box is a menu and on the top right you will see "cite" in blue. If you click that a box will appear at top left "Templates." If you click that you can choose a template to fill in which will help you with your references. You should give each source you use a name (it can be anything), because if you want to use the same source again later you can do that without doing the entire reference again and it will prevent the same source appearing twice in the reference list.

For example you will see I have named the Chilton reference that I re-formatted, as "pequannock." The next time I want to use that source, I simple place <ref name=pequannock/> instead of the full reference. If you have a look at Bon Scott you will see reference 1 has been used 12 times, each time marked by a letter of the alphabet. I hope this helps but if you don't understand something I have written or want to follow-up with other questions, just ask me here as I am watching your page and will see any changes. Best wishes Flat Out let's discuss it 02:02, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
