Archy McArchface feature suggestions

Hi Σ, thanks for creating Arch McArchface! I think I'll use it next time I archive a discussion.

I have two suggestions for the script.

The script asks for the pagename to move the selected sections to. What do you think of searching for the first available archive page name (e.g. if you were on "Talk:Somepage" with no archives, the script selects "Talk:Somepage/Archive_1" to move the selected sections.

The script could also add the talk archive template to the talk page if there isn't one present.

I'm a software engineer and would be glad to tinker with the script to add these features, although I'm unfamiliar with collaborating on Wikipedia scripts. Ericandrewlewis (talk) 22:30, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

My only problem with that is that some talk pages use date-based archives. Like this one. Σσς(Sigma) 03:52, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

Archive bot

Hi, I'm an admin in Azerbaijani Wikipedia and I've been referred to coders. We were just wondering is it possible to create archivebot for Az.Wikipedia? --Azerifactory (talk) 07:00, 18 December 2017 (UTC)

@Azerifactory: Yes. Please send me an email and we can discuss further. Σσς(Sigma) 08:06, 18 December 2017 (UTC)
For some reason, I can't find your email.--Azerifactory (talk) 09:55, 18 December 2017 (UTC)
Does Special:EmailUser/Σ load for you? Σσς(Sigma) 23:09, 18 December 2017 (UTC)
@Azerifactory: sigmawp at gmail dot come works too Σσς(Sigma) 23:47, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
Emailed you but for some reason email isn't working. --Azerifactory (talk) 01:16, 27 December 2017 (UTC)

Your signature

Please be aware that your signature uses deprecated <font> tags, which are causing Obsolete HTML tags lint errors.

You are encouraged to change

<span style="font-family:Euclid Fraktur; background:white;">→<font color="#BA0000">Σ</font><font color="#036">σ</font><font color="#036">ς</font>. <small>(Sigma)</small></span> : Σσς(Sigma)

to

<span style="font-family:Euclid Fraktur;background:white">→<span style="color:#BA0000">Σ</span><span style="color:#036">σ</span><span style="color:#036">ς</span>. <small>(Sigma)</small></span> : Σσς(Sigma)

However, that won't work, because it is 258 characters, exceeding the 255 character limit by 3.

You could save 4 characters by changing color white to #FFF (exact) and #BA0000 to #B00 (very close):

<span style="font-family:Euclid Fraktur;background:#FFF">→<span style="color:#B00">Σ</span><span style="color:#036">σ</span><span style="color:#036">ς</span>. <small>(Sigma)</small></span> : Σσς(Sigma)

If the extremely small change from #BA0000 to #B00 is not acceptable, please reply and I will consider other workarounds.

Note: I use Windows 7 and I don't have Euclid Fraktur, so on my computer and probably most Windows computers, instead of getting a gothic Germanic font, it is a plain serif font like Times New Roman. —Anomalocaris (talk) 19:38, 19 December 2017 (UTC)

Sure Σσς. (Sigma) 09:04, 25 December 2017 (UTC)

Thanks. I made a small mistake, though. I forgot to escape the ampersand of &nbsp, and as a result, you've lost the nonbreaking space in your signature. If you want it back, change it to:

<span style="font-family:Euclid Fraktur;background:#FFF">→<span style="color:#B00">Σ</span><span style="color:#036">σ</span><span style="color:#036">ς</span>.&nbsp;<small>(Sigma)</small></span> : Σσς(Sigma)
