Information icon Hello, I'm Ogress. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Moya Brennan, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Ogress 23:50, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Moya Brennan while logged out (24.127.185.50). Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of more than one account or IP address per person. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Ogress 05:06, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You are blatantly introducing false information about a living person, including while socking; expect rapid and firm responses to your apparent trolling of a singer you apparently loathe. I don't have a personal liking for her myself but there are legal reasons false information and bad cites will not be permitted. Ogress 05:21, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm GoldenGuy23. I noticed you deleted the sources (from Diva Devotee & Critic of Music), which are legit, stating that singer Pink is a Mezzo-Soprano because you say she's not a Mezzo. Even though she's generally regarded as a contralto singer, there are quite a few sources (including the previously mentioned websites) that also states Pink as a Mezzo-Soprano singer, which is why I stated that she sings in both the Contralto & Mezzo-Soprano vocal ranges, according to many sources. Information icon Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Pat Benatar, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 20:14, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

grammar

[edit]

In real life, nope :) But reading along, it's so simple to fix misspelled words, verbs that don't agree with nouns, sentences that are ten feet long with bad punctuation, and remove stupid links to 'dog' 'cat' and 'fox' that I just click 'edit' and go ... doesn't hurt to fix stuff and it's easy.

People get pissed if I actually edit text, they usually don't like my view on life :) 116.231.78.79 (talk) 01:43, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Soap Opera Villians page

[edit]

Hi, it seems to me that you and @Ultraman360: are having a disagreement over removal of a reference. It seems to me that the reference is unnecessary in the context of the page "List of soap opera villians" and there is already one more reference pointing to the existence of Adam Newman as a villian. Thus i believe Ultraman360 is correct in removing the reference, although the reason he gave is different.

Coming to the validity of the reference: I also note that the reference contains an allegation , But UPI being a reputable source can be trusted over the allegation whether unproven or not. It is eligible to be displayed on wikipedia, but if you are using it, you are allowed to put in the words like "allegedly" to imply that its unproven.

Pinging a senior user who was involved in this page recently, just in case i am wrong @JuneGloom07:

--XenaDance-- ,Do you have any reason the reference must exist here? Just because it exists before doesnt mean it cannot be removed. Daiyusha (talk) 08:28, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
