Article in need of cleanup - please assist if you can

It probably does

But regardless there is definitely a policy on reliable sources and Wikipedia review doesn't meet the requirements of being one. (Netscott) 20:53, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well you're welcome to restore your edit and I won't revert you but to be honest I'm pretty sure that you'll just be reverted by other editors. My recommendation to you would be to discuss linking to his site on the talk page and build support for it. I'm sure if you do that you'll probably encounter less resistance to adding a link to his site. Another recommendation might be to add a link in the "Primary sources" section of the article. Have you gotten this to work on Mediawiki 1.9.3? Shane (talk/contrib) 21:11, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changes on DigiNotar

[edit]

Hi, If I looked correctly I think you changed the bit on Vasco's claim over DigiNotar being the most reliable in the field. It can be that I misread the FOX-IT interim report incorrectly, but as far as I understood Diginotar didn't notice the breach in their systems until JULY 2011 and the statement of the Vasco bobo was in June 2011: so the statement made on 20 JUNE was before Diginotar knew their systems where breached (and for sure before the *.google certificate was issued). I haven't changed this back as I may have misread the Fox-IT audit interim report. The only thing I now changed was giving the source a name so it is recognizable in the sources and references list. If you read in the report that DigiNotar already knew on 20 JUNE that their systems where breached please let me know where I can find that. If you mixed up the months please change the info in thos part of the article back to a correct statement. Many thanks. Tonkie (talk) 00:51, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

See p. 13 of the report: "19-Jun-2011 Incident detected by DigiNotar by daily audit procedure" --08-15 (talk) 00:56, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Was reading the FOX-IT interim report: indeed you are fully correct, where did the statements come from that they discovered the breach in July? And how the F was it possible that the Google certs were issued deep in July??? I hope the notaries, such as the founder Dick Batenburg and the TTP Notarissen, are more honest then the company they set up ! Tonkie (talk) 02:14, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
