Flyweight[edit]

Troll? Buddy I’m an experienced editor with over 20,000 edits to my name in 9 years. You have not given any indication that you intend to discuss the issue and called me posting here “spamming”. Your source that it wasn’t vacated in December is the UFC Rankings still showing he is the champion. Those same rankings were updated every single week since December while leaving Cejudo as the flyweight title.--Rockchalk717 05:05, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Brother, your experience as an editor is noted. But like I said in my edit summaries, the UFC can't force an athlete to remain champ. They listed Colby as interim champ for months after stripping him. Their website is notoriously late in updating current information. The source found within the article, by ESPN, which I hope we can agree is reliable, explicitly states that Henry Cejudo vacated the title in December, not that Cejudo was stripped of the title in February which is your weakly backed claim. 102.41.88.183 (talk) 05:12, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Alright you may be right. I did have this same discussion with another editor and I think that he swayed me to his side. I went back and reread my comment on your talkpage and I do see that I did not include any attempt to discuss. It was just basically “your wrong now shut up and stop reverting” so I do apologize for that. I’ve been going through a lot recently in my personal life outside of Wikipedia and unfortunately I think I might have taken it out on you and I do sincerely apologize.--Rockchalk717 05:26, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Rockchalk717: I'm so sorry to hear that and hope things rapidly improve and wish you all the best in your personal life. I truly appreciate your apology, very rare on Wikipedia, and I too apologize for not handling the situation as best as I possibly could. Again, all the best. 102.41.88.183 (talk) 10:04, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
