November 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm TheXug. I noticed that you recently removed content from Indian Singaporeans without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Chinese Singaporeans, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Images[edit]

Hi, I saw your edit comment that we should be using "https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/lotr/images/e/e7/Gandalf_the_Grey.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20121110131754". However, that image is in copyright, and will be so for at least the next 100 years (till about 2153, in fact). Also, we have a policy on the Middle-earth project of not putting fan art into the lead or infobox of articles. You also tried removing a perfectly clear comment stating that fan art was not to be used, not an ideal way to begin. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:48, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

November 2021[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Who's Cookin' Who? have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 02:04, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gulf of Maine[edit]

Look, I can't be certain who you are, but our mission is to report facts and help people learn, no matter how well-known it is. If you go to Peanut butter, it says, "George Washington Carver did not invent peanut butter"; otherwise, much of what we do would simply be repeating what people already know and spreading misinformation. It may be confusing at first, but all you have to do is click through and you'll know what it is. If you are Trainsandotherthings, why wouldn't you make the edit in your own name? Stop edit warring and continue the discussion on your talk page. If you're not, then I'm sorry, but please go there to continue the discussion. Esszet (talk) 02:13, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Esszet: I don't edit logged out, ever. This IP has nothing to do with me (and geolocates to India, while I live in Connecticut). I may make controversial edits on occasion, but I never, ever LOUTsock. I'm not really interested in litigating this further, I don't really agree with your rationale but edit warring over it would be a waste of time for both of us.
