The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (soundtrack)[edit]

Hello, welcome and thank you for your contributions to this topic. I just wanted to have an initial discussion about why I have reverted this article and your changes for now. The article was fine on its own merit so there was no problem with how you set it up, but it is a bit early to make this call. Splitting off soundtrack articles like this is common for films but not so much for TV series which have added complications. We currently have general details about the music for the first season, but we will soon have much more detail about the individual episodes as well. We will also have music information for the second season eventually. Combining all of this into one music article is not necessarily the best approach, especially because I am expecting there to be individual season and episode articles for this series that can help spread out that information into appropriate places. A similar situation happened with The Mandalorian, someone made a soundtrack article to hold all of the music info but it was decided that it was better to spread all that out over the season and episode articles. So, I am asking that we hold off on your article until later in the season when we can verify how much information we have and whether it is better suited in a dedicated article or spread across multiple. Until then, all of your work is still available in the page history, and we can move it back to the draftspace if you want to continue working on it. - adamstom97 (talk) 20:04, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
