Welcome

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like it here and decide to stay.

Someone using this IP address has made unhelpful edits, which have been reverted. If you did this, in the future please try to contribute in a more constructive manner. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors.

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and timestamp. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome! NotedGrant Talk 20:32, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please refrain from repeatedly undoing other people's edits, as you are doing in Avatar. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The three-revert rule (3RR) prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, please discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Edit warring at Avatar

[edit]

At least four editors have reverted your changes at Avatar. You are the one that is edit warring. Stop or you will be blocked. Instead, you can start to discuss on the talk page (Talk:Avatar) until there is consensus. Until there is consensus, please stop edit warring. Thank you, Priyanath talk 21:55, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours to prevent further disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at Avatar. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. NJA (t/c) 12:44, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
