Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 09:05, 13 January 2012 (UTC) This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Velankanni Town, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 09:16, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Your addition to Velankanni Town has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Johnuniq (talk) 10:21, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Velankanni Town. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

I am pretty sure that you are evading the block on User:BrownyCat but, in any event, this entire issue has been discussed on the article talk page. Please do not reinstate that information without first obtaining WP:CONSENSUS on that talk page. Sitush (talk) 10:08, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for disruptive editing and likely block evasion. You either are User:BrownyCat or a very good impersonator, neither of which is allowed by policy; even if you weren't BrownyCat, your editing has been block-worthy by itself. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
