Edits relating I Am a Singer (Chinese TV series)

Hi, this is 203.78.15.150 here, and I was also another regular contributor to the I Am a Singer (Chinese TV series) articles. You know he did undid your work was because of the wrong information, and he was RIGHT. In fact, there is no placement given and the editors are CORRECT on giving an unoffical tied placement. I believe he was a familiar towards the show. He never vandalise the article; I hope you understand why he did. If there is something wrong, you can always use talk pages to discuss, or explain if there is mistakes, but the editors are working on making things right. Full Stop. We are not misleading people but we are helping one another. I know you fixed some errors we are hardly able to find, but placements are not supposed to be changed since that is a fact, unless if we make a mistake (their official placement should not be changed either). You see S5, the table Winner of Battle indeed, Sandy Lam won the competition based on the combined results of Semi-finals (22.60%) & finals (22.89%), which is 22.47%. Tia Ray finished 7th at last is the result combined from Semi-finals (No.7) & Finals (No.8), and there is missing table in the results! So, what is to appear in the result table is only the "Total percentages of votes", which is column 3. That’s why Tia Ray have a different ranking in Semi-finals & fianls, which haven’t been shown in the result table. As you see the lime colour used in the result table is just showing column 3 The "total % of votes" instead of showing another 1st got in finals. Both Lime and Yellow colour are just showing the total results, not column 2, which is finals result shown clearly in the table below.

I have replied yours. There are questions I need to explain:

1. Are you from a different country?
2. Is there any mistake the editors (not just the placement) made, or something wrong that the editor made a revert because of this?
3. There are many singers who don't receive final placements due to eliminations; same goes to the singers who got eliminated early in the Breakouts. If there is, why did you change the final placements on the edit while you help us?

1. From China. Following this show for a long time, including the current season.
2. Not becoz of this. In “competition details” & “New Singers”, some of the info r wrong, I just fixed it & that user revert all the stuff. He didn’t seriously see what & why I do so. Of coz , some of them r fixed by the other users (also use my version), and some still not yet fixed it.
3. That’s the point. U misunderstanding the competition rules from Season 1 to season 8. Indeed, there’s NO elimination in finals for season 5, so I add one more column to indicate clearly how finals result are COME from. Indeed, the finals & overall ranking r two different stuff. One is calculate the singer-together session. And One is the combine result of semi-finals & finals (singer-together session), and deduce the Champion, 1st & 2nd runner up for Season 5.

Yes, some singers get eliminated in Breakouts early before, which the table still use grey colour & “—“ to illustrate the results. Which I didn’t make any “finals” result editing for those pool of singers :) (add one more column just continue grey colour for them, which is eliminated status) . I just make the editing on those who enter finals, they should also have ONE MORE ranking of that round of show. I’m helping you guys, but you didn’t know the competition rules clearly. Not all seasons have elimination in “finals”. Maybe you are a foreigner, yu didn’t throughly understand how the shownrun it. And that’s all for seasons 5 only. Your English is very bad, and yes, I understand you are from a foreign country (China). I saw their mistakes, but we and the editors are doing our part to make the articles consistent and readable for everyone to enjoy, and there is nothing wrong on someone making mistakes, but there are things we are doing right. And please, that language on using short forms (You as u, or the word becoz, and the double quotation marks) is like you're writing a blog or using a different keyboard. 1. I am not a foreigner, and I also known about the show since the start thanks to YouTube.
2. There is a talk page on the respective seasons to discuss about, but I'm not the only one to discuss, there are other editors as well. I am resolving a dispute here.

Then where’s the talk page? Season 5 talk page? Same issues about the results table? Asider from the English problem, let’s come back to results table problem. Please inform the Chinese editors in the Chinese version of Singer 2017 to include the overall placements as well. Only then, I can call this case as Closed.

The final round problem can officially closed. But Season 2 & season 1 also have this problem, Terry Lin rank No.1 in 2nd final round, then overall comes a 1st runner-up. And Gem rank No.2 in 2nd final round then overall comes a 1st runner-up. It’s also advised to add one more column (“overall”) to indicate the results. What’s more, in Season 3 finals & Season 4 finals, those 3 singers aren’t officially eliminated, they’re just lost in “1 vs 1” section as No.1 vs No.6, No.2 vs No.5 and so on. So the colour in the results table should be yellow (Season 4 2nd final round make the mistakes). Season 3 didn’t, but Tiger Hu, Li Jian, A-lin officially ranked No.4,5,6 respectively, because Sun Nan ranked No.4 was removed after his withdrawals. So the ranking should make amendments. Sun Nan keep wiritng No.4 and use grey to indicate is ok, just like the current version. That 3 singers should be change their ranking.

And Season 5 finals didn’t have any elimination, so No.5-8 use yellow colour to indicate it. I will make the changes in the legend as well. Thats all.

For the overall ranking issues, please see here, maybe you feel free to inform the editors Dabao qian, he makes a mistake, he said his version is correct. I saw you make the discussion with the editors in talk page. And the Chinese version should be amended as English version unless it has a well and resonable explaination in the overall ranking issues which is the reason why old version is clearly demonstrated the finals result.
