Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Uncle Tom. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. AndrewrpTally-ho! 18:23, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked you for 48 hours for edit warring. AdjustShift (talk) 18:19, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I will report you for edit warring to a higher authority.
You were making no effort whatsoever to avoid the edit war. You reverted the edits of User:Parkwells without any discussion. Blocks are preventative, not punitive. I had to block you in order to stop your disruption. AdjustShift (talk) 18:30, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. KillerChihuahua?!? 11:33, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
