Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Scream (2022 film), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Rockchalk717 19:18, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Scream (2022 film), you may be blocked from editing. You can insist it's in the film all you want, but until you can provide a source verifying this claim it will continue to be reverted by me and other editors. We also do not allow something in an article with a cite needed tag "until we can get a reference" either. Any unsourced statement in any article can be challenged by another editor and removed if a source is unavailable. I just watched it last night and even watched the first Scream last week and I do not recall the "easter egg" you are claiming is in the movie. I'm not saying it for sure doesn't exist, so please do not get it twisted, but until a reference can be provided, please leave it out of the article.--Rockchalk717 19:33, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Rockchalk717: Okay, you remember that scene when they were talking about Stab and it was playing on the laptop, but we could not see the screen, just hear the film? Well instead of reusing the opening scene shot for Scream 2 like they did in Scream 4, they straight-up just used the opening scene of the original 1996 Scream, complete with Drew Barrymore. I missed it myself at first, and after reading about it saw the film again. It is there. 125.209.111.232 (talk) 19:36, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That's all fine and good and I'm not ruling out that I missed it because we've all missed things in movies the first time we see them, but please do not add it anywhere on Wikipedia unless you can provide a reliable source verifying it.--Rockchalk717 19:39, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
