[edit]

Thanks for your updates but the stats are still accurate as of the end of the 2023 season. They shouldn't be changed until the 2024 season is over (or until Week 1, in which case the infobox will read "as of Week 1 of the 2024 season". ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 17:38, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the information. I will make the changes after the week 1 game is complete. 135.131.153.248 (talk) 03:45, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you may be right in that the Packers list him as such, however he is really 5'11", refer to this under title "Editing war": Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Football League, where me and User:Bringingthewood discuss that Narveson's height should be listed at 5'11", so keep it that way. Thank you. WhyIsThisSoHard575483838 (talk) 00:25, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It was explained already, Jack. Don't poke the bear. Bringingthewood (talk) 02:26, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi 135.131.153.248! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 03:37, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 04:21, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Who you should be sending these notices and talking to are users WhyIsThisSoHard575483838 and Bringingthewood. They’re condescending, unprofessional, use inappropriate and foul language and quite frankly bully anyone whom they feel isn’t agreeing with them. Whatever privileges these users think they have, they are definitely abusing them. Their findings and edits are based on opinions and beliefs. They’re biases are unfair and not based on facts. One of these users is 15 years old and why someone of that age, who can’t legally do anything on their own including drive a vehicle, is able to behave how and do whatever they want on Wikipedia is absolute nonsense. Anyone who associates or works with these two in the same manner should be ashamed of themselves. I’m not doing anything wrong and am playing within the rules. If there’s a problem, then it’s being taken up with the wrong person. Thank you for your time. 135.131.153.248 (talk) 03:41, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, there's a discussion about it at WT:NFL if you want to leave your thoughts. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 04:23, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will read through the discussion. There’s still the issue of certain users sending inappropriate and insulting messages to individuals. I’m guessing nothing will be done about that. 135.131.153.248 (talk) 12:01, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You left this somewhere

I believe this garbage is yours.

What is your deal? There’s no need for foul or offensive language. I don’t appreciate the way I’m being talked to. I absolutely don’t deserve it. Just because you think someone is disagreeing with you doesn’t give you the right to behave unkindly. Get over yourself and quit hiding behind your phone, computer, etc. 135.131.153.248 (talk) 04:44, 2 September 2024 (UTC)

   I’m not doing anything wrong and am following the rules. I’m trying to be helpful and constructive. It’s not my opinion, it’s the fact of what information is provided. Apparently what you believe is more accurate than what is actually listed. Wikipedia uses Packers.com for player information. They have Narveson at 6’0”. Go see for yourself. I’m not making that up. Just because you don’t think that’s correct doesn’t give you the right to call someone a fool or jackass. 135.131.153.248 (talk) 04:52, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
