Enbridge edits[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your edit history includes some constructive edits, but you seem to be taking an unusual interest in the Enbridge article and your edits there are mainly based on the company's own promotional material which is far from reliable. Please replace the references you have inserted which refer to the Enbridge website as these are not independent and thus not reliable encyclopaedic sources. Also, cutting and pasting material from any other document or site into Wikipedia is not acceptable and breaches Wikipedia policy. February 2014[edit]

I note that you performed a major copy edit of the article Enbridge and that is was rapidly reverted by another editor. There are two reasons why this was a reasonable response, firstly the fact that you are editing from an IP registered to Enbridge corporation means that any edits you do will immediately be under question as representing a conflict of interest, and secondly your edit included a significant number of primary references. We do not consider references to an organisation's own website to be independent and impartial references about that organisation, so referring to claims on the Enbridge website is not a reasonable way of proving those claims.

If you want to edit this article I would suggest that you create an accurately named account (dare I suggest "Enbridge_Public_Relations_Department"?) and then go through the process of registering your account through the COI process.
