Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. -- BullRangifer (talk) 15:06, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please consider creating an account

[edit]

Now that your edits are spread across three different IPs, it's imperative that you create an account. You will have more privacy, more rights, more powers, and also much more respect from other editors. IP editors are looked at with suspicion because of various problems often associated with IP editing.

There is also the problem that IP editors do not get notified like registered editors. There are many downsides to IP editing and none to editing with an account. It's a win-win situation, so please collect all your editing under one username so that every single edit and comment can be found in one contribution history. Thanks. -- BullRangifer (talk) 15:24, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (173.154.193.132) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Happy editing! -- BullRangifer (talk) 15:24, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
