If you feel there is an error in a sentence in something he wrote, take it up with him directly. A wikipedia article is not the place for that. - Richfife (talk) 04:51, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't feel, I reason. 178.148.1.161 (talk) 07:48, 13 November 2014 (UTC) saved by the WP:SYN, even though it is so obvious.[reply]

I'm neutral about the whole section (I wouldn't take it out, but I wouldn't put it back either), but not because it's uncited. The problem is it's arguably Wikipedia:Spam. It's arguably not spam, but I'm not putting my horse in that particular race. If someone else takes exception, it'll be up to you to argue your case more thoroughly. - Richfife (talk) 15:43, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, it is quite self-promotional. 178.148.1.161 (talk) 19:12, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
p.s. Note this line from WP:V: "any material whose verifiability ... is likely to be challenged". It's very unlikely that anyone is going to challenge that the course material exists or that he wrote it. - Richfife (talk) 19:26, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
But I do challenge that it is the first MOOC on the topic! 178.148.1.161 (talk) 23:29, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If it's something that might be libelous, you take it out. If it just smells funny, you put a {{{Citation_needed}}} next to it. - Richfife (talk) 00:36, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
