Dear anonymous IP,

This is in regards to your recent edit on Dave Rubin article and then reinstating it. Please refrain from edit warring and discuss your proposed edits on the talk page. They may be inserted upon consensus, if this medium article is proven noteworthy, otherwise you may be banned from edits. So far article seems like it is NPOV and Undue Weight, see appropriate policies. If you disagree let's discuss on the talk page connected to the article you are trying to edit. You've received the same exact warning, and an edit war is exactly what you're instigating. Furthermore your reasoning makes no sense. The edit isn't stating the criticism to be true, it is making the claim that the criticism exists and is citing proof of the criticism. Your username names your political bias obvious. Please stop using Wikipedia as a source for your bias.
My reasoning makes no sense to you because you haven't read on two wikipedia policies: Reliable Sources and Undue Weight. As for the word Freedom in the username, there is nothing against the rules in that. Please respond on article talkpage https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Dave_Rubin and explain why you think anonymous author "Huxley C" publishing on platform where anybody can publish is somehow sufficient evidence of widespread criticism of Rubin by "the left", whatever that means. FreedomGonzo (talk) 07:30, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
But you made no mention of either of those in your commentary. I never claimed that the word freedom was somehow against the rules (nice bait and switch). I (correctly) implied that you have an obvious conservative/libertarian bias and that you are editing on behalf of such. The article itself makes the case through use of examples as to why it speaks for many on "the left."
I have mentioned all the policies you're violating in my edits, it's "Reliable Source", "Undue Weight" and "Non-neutral Point Of View". And seeing negative intentions in my posts are another policy violation: "Good Faith". If you want to take responsibility of editing Wikipedia, do it the right way. However, if you want to edit a Wiki, where any irrational add is okay as long as it fits political narrative, I suggest going to either RationalWiki for left-wing bias, or Conservapedia for right-wing bias. On Wikipedia you'll have to follow rules and not resort to attacking contributors. FreedomGonzo (talk) 08:16, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page guidelines[edit]

Hello. You may want to review talk page guidelines at WP:TPG. Please post responses after comments, and indent using a colon to differentiate posts from replies. I have moved your comment at Talk:Dave Rubin to the appropriate place and responded. The source is not usable, unfortunately, for reasons I have explained there, so you will need to find something better. Please also remember to comment on content, not on the contributor. Thanks.
