Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Shannyn Sossamon has been reverted.
Your edit here to Shannyn Sossamon was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (http://www.dazeddigital.com/music/article/17912/1/war-games) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Information icon Hello, I'm Tessaract2. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Samantha Morton seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tessaract2Talk 19:00, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm SNUGGUMS. I noticed that you recently removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi, do you mean the two films from the Cameron Diaz article? As her other notable films were mentioned, I thought WTGP and Sex Tape, compared to the other titles (in reception and buzz), were much less notesworthy. Greets! 190.249.179.87 (talk) 17:06, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work on Anna Faris

[edit]

Nice job- you added a lot of great content and it reads a lot better now. A lot of the little word choice tweaks you made create a much better sense of flow to the article.

I wanted to make a few requests that help collaboration happen:

When you make a significant edit, can you use the edit summary? This keeps the lines of communication open and creates a sense of dialogue. For example I was curious about your choice to remove this sourced information [[1]]

It also can be really helpful to not make two significant changed in different sections at once. For example [[2]] I really liked the changes in the 2nd paragraph, and I was confused about why the source was removed lower down.

Great work, warmly, Sethie (talk) 01:10, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

) You are welcome, thank you for awesome work!

You wrote: (Regarding the Anna Faris edit; I thought it was fine to just mention the sequel's name and its release, as her character wasn't even mentioned when the first film is talked about in the article.

Thanks! That makes sense to me. :) Sethie (talk) 01:30, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

) My mistake, didn't see that there was no wiki article for that association, pardon. Sethie (talk) 04:38, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Alicia Silverstone

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Alicia Silverstone. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --Ronz (talk) 23:59, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Despite the above warning, 190.249.179.87 continued to edit-war at Alicia Silverstone on 11 May. If this anon IP continues to show a pattern of disruptive behavior, an admin will be asked to block or ban it from editing Wikipedia. Please take your concerns to the article's talk page. --Tenebrae (talk) 18:22, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the confusion. It would help if you worked from an account. It would greatly help if you used edit summaries. --Ronz (talk) 21:42, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

About Uma

[edit]

Please, calm down. You're right about the box office, but there are also other factors to be considered, such as performance reviews and audience response - which is not necessarly only box office. Still her mid-2000s/early 2010s period is high and low anyway, but definying it as a "decline" sounds POV. The subsection name you chose, I don't see it too much fitting, but it's better than "decline" anyway.

Just remember to format sources next time, and not to use Wikipedia as source of itself. Lone Internaut (talk) 01:13, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Julia Roberts

You can edit the page to add any necessary detail on the Money Monster movie down in the career section, no one's stopping you if you do it correctly. Just remember to read WP:REFB to learn how to reference, or take a look at the guide on my user page. If you were to source your work correctly with reliable secondary sources and have it well written, it won't be reverted. I also suggest that you create an account on Wikipedia.

As for the Money Monster movie, perhaps it isn't as notable as it should be, so the lead may not be the best place for it. Regardless, let's see if other established users are okay with removing it, general consensus would be appreciated for things like this.
