Somebody edited my edits in Heydrich recently. S/he provides references to his biography.(Wiki: Encyclopedic content must be verifiable.)

May I remind EVERYONE that there are often differences between "official documents" - yes, those you relly so much on and provide as reference in Wiki, and what actually happened.

When Wiki started I hoped it would record what witnesses saw and reported, subsequent rumours etc - to provide more complete picture and understanding of an event, which one does not see - in official publications.

Alas, it seems, unless there is "a quote" from somewhere(and I can provide you with list of mistakes in reputable and othervise well researched sources - one report Heydrich as "shot"!), someone takes it upon themselves to edit out such comments.

Pity. Reader may as well read the "offical" publication (instead of Wiki), where s/he gets - yes you've guessed it - the offical view.

Oral history (as you should know) is difficult to "cite as a reliable source". On the other hand, a "reliable source" or sources contain mistakes, be it natural mistakes, politicaly inspired mistakes, personal interrests etc

I thought this was generaly understood.

If I take the abore rules literally, I cannot append what I saw today as there are no "reliable sources" - me being Niemand.

So your comment: Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia - is not correct.

And if I may ask, why was the factual statement that Heydrich felt so secure in the occupied Prague, that he drove around in an open car, without outriders, without any additional security escort, which I added - deleted (by you?)? For understanding the situation in the "Protektorate" at that time - such observation is very important and needs to be stressed (say I - but I am Niemand, with no reliable resources to cite - but the situation itself).

I did read what you wrote above; please remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Further, not all of your additions on Wikipedia have been reverted; as to your query above, I reverted the sentences as to Heydrich's escort because it was redundant; it is already mentioned and cited text under the section, "Reichsprotektor of Bohemia & Moravia".
