Regarding your recent edit. Can you give a source for your alteration to Oxenholme? The BBC reference cited states it was Lancaster. I will revert it back, unless you can provide a reliable third-party source (see Wikipedia:Reliable sources). Thank you,

July 2011[edit]

Regarding your recent edit(s) to Frankie Vaughan. Can you find and cite the source for your alteration to Oxenholme? The BBC reference cited states it was Lancaster. Without an alternative reliable third-party source, (see Wikipedia:Reliable sources), then this must prevail. To answer your statement relating to 'FACT'. My father told me when I was young, that the moon was made of cheese. Should this be included in the Wikipedia article for Moon ?! I will quote you part of the Wikipedia editing guidelines relating to 'facts' - "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth — whether readers can check that material in Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source, not whether editors think it is true" (see under Wikipedia:Verifiability).

Moreover, this is not the first time that you have been advised regarding edits on this subject matter.

September 2011[edit]

Your recent edits seem to have the appearance of edit warring after a review of the reverts you have made on AgustaWestland AW101. Users are expected to collaborate and discuss with others and avoid editing disruptively.

Please be particularly aware, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. BilCat (talk) 15:18, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on AgustaWestland AW101. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 15:18, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
