October 2017[edit]

Serial edits to add 'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland' seem like minor vandalism or trolling. Especially at a time where the political situation on the island of Ireland is difficult.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Samuel Beckett and other pages. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. cannywizard (talk) 10:42, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Changing birth and death places.[edit]

You have been changing the place of birth/detath in a number of articles. Looking at the relavant guideline Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Ireland-related articles#Place of birth, death etc. we see

The place of birth, residence and/or death of people who were born, lived or died before 1921 in what today is Northern Ireland should be given simply as "Ireland", and they should not be described as "Northern Irish". "Ireland" should not normally be linked, but if thought necessary should be linked as Ireland, not Ireland. For people who were born, lived or died in Northern Ireland after 1922 use "Northern Ireland", which will not normally be linked and should never be pipelinked.
For people anywhere else in Ireland at any time, "Ireland" should be used. Should pipelinking be considered necessary, Ireland can be used after 1922.

Your edits go against this policy and will be reverted. Can you please stop. --Salix alba (talk): 10:49, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

May 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Classicwiki. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, List of noble families in Belgium, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Classicwiki (talk) If you reply here, please ping me. 15:48, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

June 2019[edit]

Hello, I'm 94rain. An edit you recently made to Sikhism in the United Kingdom seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 94rain Talk 14:27, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
