This I do not understand fully, however it is often quite nice to answer a rhetorical question.

I use the name Enkidu, because I feel some affinity with this mythological figure. Maybe I would like to be famous and live for ever. But we all know, living for ever will never be the case. Besides this, I would like to add something to a better en healthier world, for my grandchildren. And this Fukushima-catastrophe is a big threat to this only possiblity to get some eternity for my genes...

Accusations of vandalism

This is not vandalism, it's a content dispute. However "right" you think you are, a solution needs to be found by using the talk page, rather than erroneously accusing other editors of vandalism. Remember to always assume good faith. Thanks. --Pontificalibus (talk) 16:35, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

Doing an edit while abusing words are used as only explanation, I just call "vandalism". At least someone can stay civil.

The edit summary "Gundersen is irrelevant" is not abusive - the editor was of the opinion that the text was not relevant to the article's subject. You might disagree but vandalism has a specific definition on Wikipedia that does not include content disputes. It can not "stay there" as most people commenting in the discussion on the talk page do not support the inclusion of this material in isolation at this time. It seems some are willing to see it in the article but only with appropriate accompanying remarks that maintain a neutral point of view. I suggest you work with other editors on the talk page to find a solution. --Pontificalibus (talk) 19:50, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

Enrolling in the Counter Vandalism Unit Academy won't be a huge drain on your time, it can (within reason) take as long or as little time as you and your instructor want. In the Academy you will learn how to identify vandalism, recognize other kinds of disruptive editing, warn and report those who persist in vandalism, and (perhaps most importantly) how to recognize when they have done wrong and deal with good faith editors who are upset at their contributions being removed. Caslon

Hello. I've been trying to rewrite the article on Caslon to fit in some more information about revivals and was wondering about the source of your information on Caslon's early work. When you say 'The roman in this book is a Garamond' can you say which book this was referring to? And, in your opinion, what are the best consolidated modern sources on Caslon, if a lot of the older sources are misinformed? I'd be really grateful for any knowledge on this. I don't have much time presently, to dive into this. At the time Caslon was active, a lot of type used in the UK was cast elsewhere, Holland, Belgium, France... and the early types Caslon made, were almost exact copies of those fonts. There's not that much originality in the fonts of this era. Copyright is an invention of later times !

The verdict about that originality of the font of Caslon depend greatly of the language of the books you read. I wonder whether you would be able to read French, German or Dutch...

I would recommened you to take contact with Prof. Dr.Frans A. Janssen. This very man has spent his life on things like this, and all what comes with books and typography, and when he cannot help you, he sure knows to redirect you. This man is still active at the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) his email was easily found with google... try: f.a.w.g.janssen@uva.nl
