You sir did a transphobia by equating deadnaming with the renaming of a country. Shame on you!

I'm (not) sorry but if what I said is somehow transphobic then you can call me JK Rowling, because I stand by it 100% and more. When a trans person kindly requests that we call them something else we respect those wishes. When a country kindly requests that we call them something else we respect those wishes. Simple as that. If you think there is any difference whatsoever then you obviously aren't thinking clearly. Names are a part of identity, and whether it's a trans person changing their name or a country changing its name, the reasoning is the same either way: they are embracing who they really are. So stop the selectiveness and hypocrisy, and unless you've got an actual reason for accusing me of being transphobic (which is an accusation I take very strongly FYI) I suggest you take a break from the internet, because the rot is clearly getting to your head if you somehow extrapolated any disdain for trans people from what I said.
