Request reason:

I am making a unblock request because I understand why I was block. I was block because I had editing habits. I think if you unblock me I will slow down on the editing. I was also editing waring because I felt that I was right so I keep undoing this article Interstate 175 (Tennessee-Kentucky). I know now that you should not war edit even if you feel you are right. I am sorry about the copy right violation. I did not know that Google maps was a copyright violation, but now I know anything you read is a copy right. I created two accounts because I have over one account on everything. I do not want you to think I created two accounts so I can get out blocks. No I did It because I want a Interstate Highway name, and I wanted a name with a date when I graduated college. Before I save this unblock request I will like to tell you what I will do if I got unblock. I won't be editing, I want to create maps for articles on Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Maps task force, that will be my hobby on Wikipedia. Creating maps is a fun thing to do. I really hope you are convinced. I just want a second chance because I just join Wikipedia in January, so I need to get to know it. I had no idea about the rules. I am also working on my grammar. This unblock request I wrote the whole thing so I can convinced you and the community. I think all of the administrators are doing a wonderful job keeping Wikipedia a reliable sources, an maybe I can be one someday in the future. I promise, I won't have edit habits, and be involved in edit warring, and do copyright violations ever again, so I am begging you to get me another chance.

Decline reason:

I'm not fully convinced you understand the issues at hand per your writings here nor am I convinced that you have the competence required on Wikipedia. I agree with the declines over at Interstate 285 as well. only (talk) 11:36, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Before I make an unblock request, can you explain what can I do possibly for me to get unblock. I already read the guide to appealing blocks. I think its very hard to get unblock, I just wonder if you have any suggests... Thank you

You should read WP:OFFER and take a break. –Fredddie 02:34, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If you have already appealed to the Unblock Ticket Request System and been declined you may appeal to the Arbitration Committee's Ban Appeals Subcommittee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.

Yearguy is me, I said it wasn't me six months ago to try to get out of the block.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2006 December (talkcontribs) 20:41, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

So next Monday I will be able to make a unblock request.?

Yes, but no one guarantees that you'll be unblocked. You have to persuade admins that you are going to edit constructively if unblocked. Vanjagenije (talk) 10:26, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I socked again, and I am very sorry. I just want another opportunity to make contributions Wikipedia. It's been year since I started Wikipedia, and I did not know the rules of wikipedia, like the copy right violations, the edit waring, and unconstructive edits when I started making contributions. It's hard for me to understand things because I have a disability called Autism, that's also why my grammar has been awful. The sockpuppets I did not know at first, but after my second account was blocked (User:Interstate 285), I kept doing it, thinking I can get away with the block. I used User:DietCokeIsTheBest, User:Interstate 285, User:Mapuploader8575, and User:Yearguy as accounts to avoid the block. If I am able contributions again, I promise to take Wikipedia seriously, and I will make productive contributions. Wikipedia means so much to me, and I want to help improve road articles in Tennessee and Georgia, and I promise to never break the rules on Wikipedia. You won't see any trouble out of me anymore if I get unblocked. I hope Kinu and all of the administrator's on Wikipedia are convinced.

Decline reason:

I am sorry but between the competency issues and the trust issues I feel like if I unblocked you then you would make me regret it. HighInBC 04:54, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comment from blocking admin: I do not see anything in the editing history of this account or any of its numerous socks to suggest that an unblock will lead to constructive contributions. At the very least, given the poor quality of the previous contributions and the sockpuppetry issues, something along the lines of the second chance approach would be more convincing. --Kinu t/c 21:56, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I made poor contributions in the past, but I promise I will edit constructively if unblocked.

History

[edit]

I-440 was originally planned in 1950s, though in 1970s local oppsions delayed the construction of the highway. Many locals started a protest called Nashvilleans Against I-440. Lawsuits were field in 1981 to try block the freeway, though a juge ruled in favor of the construction of I-440. The ground breaking of I-440 took place in 1982, and it displaced homes along along Primrose Circle.[1]The first section of I-440 opened between I-24 and I-65 in 1986, and the section between I-65 and I-40 was completed in 1987. It was the most expensive road, per mile, built in Tennessee at the time. The interstate is one of the most congested rush-hour highways in the state[citation needed], with three lanes in each direction, a speed limit set at 55 mph, and an AADT of 106,219,[2]
