Copyright problems[edit]
Hi! I've deleted Draft:European Review of Aging and Physical Activity because it was copied with minimal changes from this page, which carries a clear notice "© Springer Nature Switzerland AG". I've also deleted User:2019Research/sandbox for exactly the same reason. You can create a new version of the draft if you wish, but it must be written entirely in your own words – except, of course, for proper names. Since you are a Springer employee, you'll need to make a proper paid-editor disclosure, ideally both on the talk-page of the draft and on your user page at User:2019Research. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=2019Research|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. You should do that before making any further edit relating to Springer products or publications. Please ask (here is fine) if you have any questions. Hi, If I include the 'paid' notice in my profile and article with the same text as before will it be accepted? The text in the other BMC wiki pages have a similar company available promo text we use. Kind regards Adam

Hi, This is the same/similar content used as our other journal from BMC i.e. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trials_(journal) We have amended the content several times so it is not similar to what is already online in the cited Spiringer and BMC pages. Can you please keep this page up as we need this for the Editor in Chief. It is more of a About Us (our journal) then promotion. Kind regards Adam

My User page has this tag though, there's no conflict of interest.
$ 2019Research, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that they have been paid by BioMed_Central for their contributions to Wikipedia.
As stated in my example, it is no different to the Trials page.
We have followed all guidelines set out by Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 15:56, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

- You're not getting this. The fact that you have declared your interest doesn't make it okay to try to use Wikipedia to try to promote your product. It is different from the article on Trials because that one has been written with at least some pretence at neutrality. However, it was created ten years ago and would not pass muster if it were submitted now because of the poor referencing. Wikipedia is not a web host, nor a directory. All topics must be written about from a neutral point of view and must meet standards of notability, which must be independently verifiable. Deb (talk) 16:17, 17 January 2019 (UTC)
- 2019Research/Adam, you've made a paid-editor disclosure, just as I asked – thank you for that! However, that doesn't mean that you can ignore our conflict-of-interest guidelines, and it doesn't mean that you can promote Springer products or publications here – Wikipedia does not tolerate promotion of any kind. For reasons that I personally have never been able to understand, paid editors may create pages in draft space (i.e., the page title starts with "Draft:"), as long as they make a proper disclosure. They are strongly discouraged from editing in article space on any topic where they have a COI; very often that "discouragement" takes the form of immediate deletion or reversion of their edits.
