A cordial welcome

Hi, looking at your numerous edits, it seems a pity that you've not created an account yet. Usually, Wikipedia users like to engage a lot more with registered users. Hope you stay and enjoy! If you need any help at any time, feel free to let me know, and I'll be happy to help! Thomas Meng (talk) 03:38, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Investigations into the origin of COVID-19. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Bakkster Man (talk) 00:11, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use talk pages for inappropriate discussion, as you did at Talk:Investigations into the origin of COVID-19, you may be blocked from editing. Article talk pages are for discussing improvements to articles, not for mocking fellow editors. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 00:42, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

SpaceX_reusable_launch_system_development_program#Falcon_Heavy_reusability

[edit]

You recently added an unsourced paragraph to the article and section SpaceX_reusable_launch_system_development_program#Falcon_Heavy_reusability. I've asked that a citation be supplied rather than remove the unsourced bits. Do you have a source for those statements you added? N2e (talk) 10:56, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

COVID general sanctions notification

[edit]
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has enacted a more stringent set of rules. Any administrator may impose sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

I noticed your comments at ANI. In addition, there are many comments from you at Talk:Investigations into the origin of COVID-19. Any further poking of other editors or posting of poorly sourced commentary will result in an indefinite topic ban. Contributors must focus on actionable proposals to improve the article based on reliable sources. For example, what happens at Facebook is of no interest at Wikipedia, other than possibly in an article about Facebook. Johnuniq (talk) 07:09, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

All the links I've posted are from mainstream reliable sources, and I never mentioned any crap Facebook users do, only mentioned what the FB corporation policy changes are. You might be thinking of a different IP. 205.175.106.86 (talk) 22:37, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Did you see my "I noticed your comments at ANI" link? Did you make those comments? Are they appropriate for Wikipedia? Johnuniq (talk) 23:59, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Are you saying that there isn't a select, restricted group of users on wikipedia which through attrition drive forward certain "savory" point of views at the expense of "unsavory" dissenting point of views? Even when this IS at the expense of core Wikipedia pillars like WP:NPOV? WP:FRAM ring a bell? WP:UCoC much? And are you trying to imply that the said "savory" point of views are not enforced through certain noticeboards where wikiactivists-that-play-the-game editors are given priority over those who disagree? 205.175.106.86 (talk) 01:37, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Let me know if you have any questions about the warning I have issued. Otherwise, Wikipedia is not the place for forum-like discussions even if they superficially appear to concern Wikipedia. There are several websites where people can exchange views on how broken Wikipedia is. Please use one of them. Johnuniq (talk) 02:11, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
