Read related articles and edit rationales before mass reverting[edit]

Your recent mass reversions have no justification and revert content that has been explained and sourced. With regards to language families, read Altaic languages - the first sentence, which has several solid references, clearly indicates that the Altaic language group is discredited and should not be used. Koreanic as a language family theory is viewed largely in the context of two very disputed proposals: that the Jeju dialect of Korean is sufficiently distinct to consider it a separate language from Korean, and that the other languages of the Korean Three Kingdoms era and the Proto-Three Kingdoms era were different enough from each other to consider them separate (now-extinct) languages under a language family. Both of these concepts are, at best, questionable and lack strong evidence at the moment. It is best to consider Korean a language isolate (other articles also indicate as much).Ecthelion83 (talk) 21:23, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
