Your edits to Laura Dekker

[edit]

You appear to be making 'good faith' edits to the page about Laura Dekker. However, I am rather concerned that you have been changing some statements such as dates of divorce, loan rather than donation of the Guppy to reflect what you know, or what Dekker herself now says, without actually changing the references to support those facts - assuming you to believe them to be wrong. As a result, I very nearly reverted every single one of your edits, but closer investigation suggests there are different sources out there which may support some of those changes. Your task, if you wish to edit these articles is to supply better, Reliable sources that independent Please do not change content without supplying references. If you are connected with the subject in any way, you might wish to read our policy on Conflict of interest. Regards, Nick Moyes (talk) 12:19, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you are indeed Laura Dekker, we can't know that just by you writing it, because we want to protect people from being incorrectly claimed to be them. People who claim they are famous people could write unsuitable things and make other people accuse the famous person of it. Read Wikipedia:Username_policy#Inappropriate_usernames. There is a method of confirming Wikipedia accounts by e-mail, on this page. --BIL (talk) 17:47, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It is also useful if a person publishes information about themselves on their official website, which can be used as reference to correction of certain info.----BIL (talk) 11:38, 9 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said before, I AM Laura Dekker! Wen you don't believe, write me on one of my email addresses on my site about this matter! Its to difficult fighting against wrong info on Wikipedia. So I give up again, like I did many years ago! So we keep reading the wrong info in every new artikel for many years to come, BECAUSE its on Wikipedia! So do what ever you guys want I am sick of it! Like I do not know my parents divorce 2001 or 2002! or like I do not have a contract with lifesail about the long therm loan! Just everybody seems to know better as I do... Wish you guys; all the best, Laura :-(
