Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far.
I wanted to send a friendly notice that someone using this IP address, 2600:100C:B00C:7EE6:C152:8BEF:F333:B668, has made edits which do not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy. Please always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed.
I thought this would be helpful to point out because it seems that you were concerned when another editor reverted your recent edit at Harold I. Pratt. However, the reason it was removed is commonplace on Wikipedia -- Information is often removed if there is no inline citation or other source added to the article to verify that claim. As far as I'm aware, it was not a personal removal, and was only done because there was a question of what source that information came from. You can even check the article's revision history and see the edit summary said it was "Uncited". If it is removed again, you're welcome to add it back as long as you include a reliable inline citation.
And if you need any additional help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! - Whisperjanes (talk) 18:27, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
