Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Hello, 2600:8804:6600:45:2918:2AB7:9BF0:437B,

I've moved to your work to Draft space which is where editors create and work on articles, Draft:Metabiota. It should not have been placed on a Talk page as it was tagged for deletion before I moved it. If you have questions about article creation or editing on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse. March 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm RandomCanadian. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 06:07, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please elaborate, what am I promoting? 2600:8804:6600:45:2918:2AB7:9BF0:437B (talk) 06:08, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
A point of view? RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 06:10, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What view is that? 2600:8804:6600:45:2918:2AB7:9BF0:437B (talk) 06:10, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
One which is very much at odds with that of reliable scientific publications, and whose proponents have disrupted Wikipedia since almost the very beginning of the pandemic. On top of WP:CABAL accusations... RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 06:12, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So your view is that we can't discuss and write articles about controversial ideas on wikiepedia? 2600:8804:6600:45:2918:2AB7:9BF0:437B (talk) 06:15, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I believe RC's view is that we should do so, but while following the standards of conduct and writing set forth in policies like WP:V, WP:NPOV, and WP:FRINGE. — Shibbolethink ( ) 19:44, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NOLABLEAK[edit]

Hey there. 1) Per WP:NOBAN, I politely request that you do not edit my userspace in the future, including WP:NOLABLEAK. 2) Have you ever edited Wikipedia from other accounts? There are identical edits to WP:NOLABLEAK from different accounts, including this one, so I am curious. –Novem Linguae (talk) 09:17, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. Since you have edited my userspace again [1][2][3], I just wanted to reiterate my request to please stop editing my userspace. Thank you. –Novem Linguae (talk) 21:11, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ANI notification[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. — Shibbolethink ( ) 21:41, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in COVID-19, broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
