March 2022[edit]

Hello, I'm Mako001. I noticed that in this edit to Jim French (baseball), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 03:54, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I did not remove content, I merely changed Juris Doctorate to Juris Doctor. The actual name of the degree in Latin is Juris Doctor. Juris is Latin and doctorate is English. There is no therefore such degree as the juris doctorate. Using this term is like referring to a Bachelor of Arts as an Artium Bachelors. 2601:205:3:DEE2:A8BD:2121:9CD0:C4E0 (talk) 04:05, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making test edits to Wikipedia pages, such as the one you made with this edit to Ed Narain, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 03:54, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I do not know what a "test edit" is. I did not "experiment" or make multiple edits. I merely changed Juris Doctorate to Juris Doctor. The actual name of the degree in Latin is Juris Doctor. Juris is Latin and doctorate is English. There is no therefore such degree as the juris doctorate. Using this term is like referring to a Bachelor of Arts as an Artium Bachelors. 2601:205:3:DEE2:A8BD:2121:9CD0:C4E0 (talk) 04:10, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The actual name of the degree is Juris Doctor. Juris is Latin and doctorate is English. There is no such degree as the juris doctorate. Using this term is like referring to a Bachelor of Arts as an artium bachelors. 2601:205:3:DEE2:A8BD:2121:9CD0:C4E0 (talk) 04:02, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
