Information icon Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Enshittification, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 21:50, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

1) I am not a beginner, as may be noted from the use of link bracket-formatting in my submission. (In any event, don't WP:BITE the WP:BOLD. ;-)
2) Submitting "enshittiication" to a search engine along with "MacOS" or "Microsoft Windows" or "pay-to-win" gaming will yield many pages of usable material. It is subjective from the POV of each editor whether or not any particular assertion is so blatantly obvious (e.g. the sky being blue) that a citation (let alone several) not be required immediately. Anyway, the default procedure at Wikipedia is to apply a citation-needed tag if felt warranted, then wait a suitable period of time before reverting.) 2601:444:7E:82D0:D0E7:240F:3CD7:6EDE (talk) 22:00, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The list of examples in the lead has been a recurring issue, as discussed on the article's talk page. Search results are not the same as reliable sources, and since this has come up before, please propose specific reliable sources for this perspective, or address the concerns raised on the article's talk page.
