Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, 2607:FEA8:6C60:5D5:B9B4:2C08:4181:59DE. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Lisa Yamanaka, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. We don't know who you are. Multiple IPs have claimed to be the subject of this article. We don't know if they are all the same person, or if any of them are the subject. It is very common for users to claim to be the subject of biographies (or their spouse/parent/child/agent/best friend/whatever) in an attempt to influence the article content. Often they are not who they claim to be, so we don't allow editors to edit BLPS just because of an who they claim to be. If you really are the subject and you want us to believe you then please create an account and contact WP:OTRS to prove your identity. Once you have proved your identity then you may propose your changes ot the article on the article's talk page, so that editors without a conflict of interest can decide if the changes should be made as proposes, if they should be made in a modified form, of if they should not be made at all. Normally you should not make an y edits yourself. Please read WP:COMMONNAME and WP:COISELF Meters (talk) 02:26, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please understand that no insult is intended.we do this to prevent biographies from being damaged by people falsely claiming to be someone they are not. Meters (talk) 02:28, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We also have a named account, user:Lisaakimijai, who claims to be the subject of this article. Are you the same user? Meters (talk) 02:36, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
