Speedy deletion nomination declined[edit]

I have declined the speedy deletion nomination of Preston Hazard (Musician), because the earlier deletion wasn't the outcome of a deletion discussion. This doesn't imply any opinion either way on whether the article should be deleted; it merely means that it doesn't qualify under that particular deletion criterion. I have now deleted the article for completely different reasons, but a version remains in draft space. I have also seen enough to encourage me to think it worthwhile to keep an eye open for sock evidence. However, the article wasn't identical, or even nearly identical, to the deleted versions of the article, so the cached version you refer to must come from somewhere else. OK, thanks. However, that isn't a copy of the original article, which was deleted in 2017. It's a copy of Draft:Preston Hazard, which was created in July 2020, and copied to Preston Hazard (Musician) in August 2021, and is not at all the same as the deleted article. I do suspect that the account which created it may be another sockpuppet of the editor who created the original, though. JBW (talk) 08:53, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
