In June 2020 he was investigated along with Dor Micha for statutory rape of two 15-year old minors. Following the investigation he was removed from the team.[1] The State Prosecutor’s Office closed the cases.[2][3] Police sources told the media that the reason cited for the closing was that the players provided proof that the girls had concealed the fact they were under 16.[2][3] However resurfaced texts revealed in 2022 showed that the players allegedly knew that the teens were young students, contradicting previous claims.[4][4][4]
