Peer review: General info Whose work are you reviewing? 2K415 (Youth Activism) Link to draft you're reviewing: User:2k415/Youth activism Lead Guiding questions:

Has the Lead been updated to reflect the new content added by your peer? Yes they've added some content reflective of more up-to-date info. Does the Lead include an introductory sentence that concisely and clearly describes the article's topic? Yes, more like a definition. Does the Lead include a brief description of the article's major sections? No, but they could easily add a synopsis in! Does the Lead include information that is not present in the article? "Alter-activism" is mentioned, they should describe what this is. In the sub-section "21st Century Youth Activism", they could add a section on abortion rights and gun violence which they mentioned in the Lead. Is the Lead concise or is it overly detailed? It's pretty concise -could add more. Lead evaluation Content Guiding questions:

Is the content added relevant to the topic? Yes Is the content added up-to-date? Pretty much! Is there content that is missing or content that does not belong? Suggestions for additions: in the technology they could add "Tik Tok" as another platform. Could refer to our Tik Tok Activism group for info. Could add statistics on how each Social Media Platform works for Youth Activism. For ex: could look up and add, if available, stats on how effective each platform is for this purpose in comparison to the others. Which platform is most used for this purpose etc. Content evaluation Tone and Balance Guiding questions:

Is the content added neutral? Yes. Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position? No. Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented? Could add some sections on movements that aren't progressive and leftist. For example, gun rights youth activism, I'm not sure if there is much info on this, but I'm sure it's out there. Also what about youth that are against abortion, what is their presence like on social media? Not all youth activism is leftist and progressive although much of it seems to be from our perspective. Does the content added attempt to persuade the reader in favor of one position or away from another? I don't think this was intentional, but most of the content is about progressive movements, a reader who doesn't align with these views may be looking for info on the other political spectrum. Tone and balance evaluation Sources and References Guiding questions:

Is all new content backed up by a reliable secondary source of information? Yes, they provided a lot of source links. Are the sources thorough - i.e. Do they reflect the available literature on the topic? Yes Are the sources current? Yeah there are quite a few recent sources. Check a few links. Do they work? yes. Sources and references evaluation Organization Guiding questions:

Is the content added well-written - i.e. Is it concise, clear, and easy to read? yes, easy to follow and gets to the point. Does the content added have any grammatical or spelling errors? I don't see any. Is the content added well-organized - i.e. broken down into sections that reflect the major points of the topic? Yes, they did a good job on sections. One suggestion: for the technology section, maybe add a sub section for "social media" because all the info under the Technology section is about social media platforms. Organization evaluation Images and Media Guiding questions: If your peer added images or media

Does the article include images that enhance understanding of the topic? Not yet, they will probably add pictures and images. Are images well-captioned? doesn't apply - no pictures yet. Do all images adhere to Wikipedia's copyright regulations? doesn't apply Are the images laid out in a visually appealing way?
