I do not know whom I am addressing. I certainly do not have the time to go from one cite of explanations and instructions and policies, etc. and then to another and then be directed to yet another in an effort to figure it out. But if there is someone out there who is involved In my issue and would care to enter into dialogue with me I would appreciate it.
Recently a number of my edits have been reversed on the grounds of "self promotion." This is unfair--or may be. I am responding to serious issues of debate, and if my work is the appropriate work to cite for the debate what right has someone to decide that it is "self promotion" rather than a way to lead the reader to another perspective?
