Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Draft:The Mandalorian (fanfic), is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 21:15, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

About the now deleted Draft:One Piece (fanfic)[edit]

Hi IP user.

On its "talk page" you wrote

This page should not be speedily deleted because (it's Just a fanfiction) --45.238.169.24 (talk) 17:24, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The problem here is that Wikipedia is not the place to write fanfic.

It can sometimes the place to write about fanfic.

Please have a look at My Immortal (fan fiction), and in particular its "References" section. This fanfic has a lot of coverage in sources regarded as reliable.

If and until the One Piece fanfic the deleted draft was about has gained the kind of attention that the My Immortal fanfic has, if recreated it will be deleted again.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:One Piece (fanfic) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:One Piece (fanfic). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
