May 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm SamX. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Adolfo Constanzo, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SamX (talk) 04:15, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Why are you so adamant regarding my changes?[edit]

Why? 47.204.158.146 (talk) 04:22, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Because you're not providing reliable sources for the changes you're making. You're technically correct that Constanzo wasn't convicted of the murders, but there seems to be pretty much universal agreement among reliable sources that he was responsible for the killings. Wikipedia's job is to summarize what is reported in reliable sources, so he's described as being responsible for the killings. SamX (talk) 04:42, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There was never proof that he did it Sam. There are a lot of things you don’t know that you think you do. You are goi g from what the media has fed you. 47.204.158.146 (talk) 04:50, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please if you don’t mind, inform me of those “reliable” sources you are referring to. Besides Inside Edition, Oprah (lol), Geraldo Rivera (LOL) 47.204.158.146 (talk) 04:52, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Is there another way for us to communicate privately? I’m not used to this wiki platform. 47.204.158.146 (talk) 04:58, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I prefer to keep conversations on Wikipedia for the sake of transparency. If the platform is causing issues for you, you might find Help:Talk pages useful.
The New York times is one of those sources, and it's considered to be reliable on Wikipedia. If you think there are reasons to believe that Constanzo wasn't involved, you'll need to provide sources to that effect. I encourage you to ready Wikipedia:Reliable sources thoroughly before doing so, however—for example, blogs and self-published books are not considered reliable.
