Looks good to me

[edit]

I'm referring to this. Good solution!

Re:Hamilton

[edit]

No problem. I guess that wasn't Lewis' only faux pas of the past weekend! Cs-wolves(talk) 10:45, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(Putting it here just due to the same subject)...No problem. I always thought it was Nicholas as that is the usual long name for a "Nick", but the Times article that had been reffed on the page had "Nic", which made me search through Google to double check (Sad, I know...) and turns out it was Nicolas. Bizarre! Cs-wolves(talk) 15:54, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Brabham BT49

[edit]

Hi 4u1e. Sorry for not replying sooner. I'm not sure we ever explicitly decided to link events in which the driver/team/car didn't participate, but that is what's shown in the sample driver results table and what has been done in all the driver/team/car results tables that I'm aware of. (The sample team and car results tables aren't much help because we happen to have picked a team and car which contested all rounds of all seasons shown). By all means start a discussion at WP:F1, but in my opinion it's not worth changing all the existing tables (which I think we would need to do for consistency). Regards. Reviewer and rollbacker

[edit]

I see that Karanacs just gave you the reviewer rights. You're very well respected around here so I added the rollbacker rights too. Royalbroil 03:46, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Karanacs (talk) 17:31, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:BrabhamJack1966B.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Blockquote in US GP articles

[edit]

Hey 4u1e. I see you reintroduced the blockquote in the 1964 United States Grand Prix article, on the assumption that this was a direct quote from Road & Track. However, when the material was originally added I quizzed the editor responsible on this and he stated that he just used it for emphasis and that it wasn't a direct quotation or transcription. In light of that I think it probably best if it is left in plain text form, and that we make the conversion for all the other US GP articles soon. As a result I switched it back, hope you understand. Bye for now. Pyrope 20:47, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Undo edit summary

[edit]

Please only use the undo edit summary when you actually revert somebody. Using it when what you did is make a fresh edit, as you did at Stirling Moss, is annoying all round. Thanks, ♫ SqueakBox talk contribs 20:52, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re:2009 teams

[edit]

Hi. It is possible that it is template overkill, but it seemed silly to me that there wasn't a template similar to the 2010 teams one for at least the last couple of years. Maybe we could not put these templates on constructor articles, and therefore stop the clutter which would be caused by 60 templates on Ferrari. Aluminium block

[edit]

Could be it should be. As I saw it, tho, it was aluminum to begin with, & I thought status quo was the "rule". If Engvar trumps, feel free to change it back. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 20:39, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Entirely possible. And I've had endless headaches with knowing who exactly is responsible for making certain changes, since the displayed page doesn't always credit correctly in my experience. (Or I'm reading them wrong, equally possible. :p) Just happy to know I haven't made an enemy for life. ;D (I've got enough of those. ;p Lots on IPs. ;D ) TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 21:19, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sauber C14

[edit]

Hey, did you see the rear wing, Petronas is official fuel of Sauber C14

Re:Request for assistance

[edit]

Hello! Yes, both Autocourse and the Formula 1 Yearbook give Elf as Sauber's fuel supplier in 1995. Autocourse also explicitly describes Petronas as a new team sponsor (along with Red Bull). Off the top of my head, I think Petronas started supplying fuel to Sauber in 1997, when the team switched to Ferrari engines.--Midgrid(talk) 15:00, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Already taken care of! ;) And you're right about 1999.--Midgrid(talk) 15:18, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
