Welcome to Wikipedia!
I'm Walter Görlitz, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge. Although you're free to perform most tasks on Wikipedia without registering, it's highly recommended you create an account as there are many added benefits. It's private and secure and it's also free, simple, and quick to do.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you register an account, you can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address linked to your contributions page (however, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this IP's talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Sincerely, Walter Görlitz (talk) 22:37, 12 July 2020 (UTC) (Leave me a message)
[edit]Please refrain from adding, removing or changing genres, as you did to I'm So Tired..., without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 15:12, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Grand Ole Opry, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 19:24, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Jennifer Nettles. Transcendental (talk) 16:25, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
[edit]Hello, I'm That Coptic Guy. I noticed that you recently removed content from One of Us Is Lying (TV series) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — That Coptic Guy (talk) 00:06, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to One of Us Is Lying (TV series), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. — That Coptic Guy (talk) 00:07, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
[edit]Hello, I'm Bojo1498. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Andrew Rannells, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. (bojo)(they/them)(talk) 02:02, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at (Don't Fear) The Reaper, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please review WP:IPCV as well. DonIago (talk) 02:32, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
