Mount Rainier

[edit]
  1. The Senate passed a resolution for the name change, but it has not passed the Assembly or signed by the Governor. it is not state law.
  2. Even if the renaming became state law, it has no effect: the official names of natural landmarks are determined by the Board on Geographic Names, a branch of the United States Geological Survey
  3. Wikipedia is for enduring information, see WP:NOT#NEWS. A temporary name change due to a football game is more appropriate for Wikinews.
P.S. Go Hawks!
