Edit summaries[edit]

Hi, I’m Neiltonks (talk · contribs). Thanks for your edits to Wikipedia so far, and I hope you stay around. As an experienced editor here, can I give you a little friendly advice? Please don’t use edit summaries like ‘fixed childish writing’, which could be seen as aggressive, or dismissive of the efforts of other editors. It creates ill-feeling and is unnecessary. Concentrate on what you’ve done to improve the article not on what you think was wrong with other edits. That way, we all get along better and contributing is a rewarding experience for everyone. Happy editing!! Neiltonks (talk) 22:12, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want the quality of the encyclopaedia to improve, you have to point out its failings. When I see infantile writing that has no place here, I say so. The only people who will be upset by this are the contributors of substandard text, who we can obviously live without. 51.6.138.109 (talk) 22:14, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
