Your GA nomination of CT scan

The article CT scan you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:CT scan for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility.

Additionally, I want to apologise that the bot made a technical error in the automatic message it sent you - I hope that this error has been resolved. Bibeyjj (talk) 21:10, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted

Hi 511KeV. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers" user group. Please check back at WP:PERM in case your user right is time limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:

  • Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
  • You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
  • If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
  • Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.

The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. signed, Rosguill talk 21:21, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion

why did you tag a page in my userspace for deletion? Why can Berrely have User:Berrely/Editnotice? --BlueCrabRedCrab 13:33, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

:@BlueCrabRedCrab Thankyou for bringing this issue to my notice. Actuall, I thought it was a mainspace page, I was hoping it's title to be like user:(name of page) but rather it seemed like user/(name of page). I admit it was a mistake from my side. Thankyou once again, to let me know. Happy editing. 511KeV (talk) 14:26, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

BlueCrabRedCrab, I checked again and it became clear that your page was in Mainspace not in Userspace, so it was deleted. Mainspace is only for articles not for usersubpages. User Berrely's edit notice is in Userspace, which is preferred location for user subpages. Thankyou. 511KeV (talk) 15:34, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, I didn't notice that either. Thanks. --CutlassCiera 15:00, 18 April 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Geo Slam

Thank you for moving Draft:Geo Slam. Unfortunately I did a mistake when I was trying to copy paste it. I would appreciate, If you could look into that, one more time? Thank you so much. -- M.Freedmann (talk) 02:29, 24 April 2021 (UTC)M.Freedmann

Hi @M.Freedmann, I checked out both pages but couldn't find the mistake, can you please be specific about it. The only test seems like you have added a merge tag on the article and your talkpage. Kindly let me know. Thankyou. signed, 511KeV (talk) 06:25, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

DYK for CT scan

On 27 April 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article CT scan, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the first commercially viable CT scanner was invented by Godfrey Hounsfield in 1972? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/CT scan. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, CT scan), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Draft:Misses Kisses

Hi, and thank you for reviewing this draft. Curious how I can make this not seem like an advertisement. The point is more to report on the patent side of this, but the requirement that it include press seems to inherently lead to more promotional type articles. I could remove the review articles and emphasize the interview with the inventor, but then I would not be able to show that this is a popular product. I'm viewing this as a WonderBra-type invention, in terms of its cultural relevance, except that this invention is focused more towards influencers and the current Instagram culture. Should I try to locate some negative responses for the sake of balancing out the coverage? I could include this Buzzfeed review, which is negative but it's in a video (not a written article); https://www.buzzfeed.com/chloezak/we-tried-the-weirdest-bra-on-the-internet. Thanks again for your help.

Crellin (talk) 17:44, 29 April 2021 (UTC)

Hey @Crellin, The use of sentences like, The Misses Kisses products, which are of varying sizes, consist of a "strapless, frontless, backless undergarment with no connecting facets in the front or back so that the wearer may wear any of the present elegant, stylish and very cool garments which are strapless, or utilize a low back or a plunging V-shape front that will expose a portion of the breasts of the wearer. in the Draft:Misses Kisses clearly shows that the draft is promotional. I would suggest to locate some Reliable sources and format the draft as per Inline citation and WP:NPOV. Once you think the draft is complete and the issues has been resolved, you can resubmit it for review. If you have any other queries, you can ask for help from experienced editors at Teahouse.signed, 511KeV (talk) 08:01, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for moving the Draft! Wikipedia's backend isn't exactly user-friendly :D Pantheonwest (talk) 14:00, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

Hey @Pantheonwest, No need to thank me. We all are a part of the project where we help each other to build a perfect encyclopaedia for ourselves and for our future generations. I wonder why you feel a bit low with the backend as you mentioned. If there is anything I could do, I would be happy to help. I will be waiting for you reply. Till then Happy editing! 🙂 signed, 511KeV (talk) 22:58, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
