DYK for E5 Project[edit]

On 5 August 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article E5 Project, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from shipping, the e5 Project is producing solar- and wind-powered ships to transport fuel oil? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, E5 Project), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

IP block exemption[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

5225C/2020 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I have been blocked on one device only, which is the one I mainly use to edit. This is because my educational institution's IT policy requires the routing of internet traffic through Forcepoint servers which makes me appear to be using a colocation/web host/VPN/etc. The relevant IP address is 116.50.58.0/23. I was previously granted an IP block exemption by @5 albert square: which expired yesterday. I would appreciate it if I could be granted this status permanently as this arrangement will not be changing in the foreseeable future.
Note: I did try to submit an appeal through the UTRS system, but the new version removes my username from the appeal if I select "The underlying IP address is blocked".

Accept reason:

Done for two years. I'm not willing to make it indefinite so soon, but if the issue persists in two years, it can be made indefinite then. ST47 (talk) 06:28, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
