Unusual revert[edit]

Sorry if I annoyed you, but I really wish I had the time for a crusade against the tendency around here to regard sports articles as separate from others, and subject to the strange idea that any editor can change numbers on a whim. My fear is that we could end up with a project riddled with meaningless numbers because of the limited ability of volunteers to check. Britmax (talk) 08:03, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What are you actually trying to achieve? You're restoring incorrect information and you're aware it's incorrect? How is this productive? The entry information is a summary (per WP:F1 convention), it doesn't need its own source. The only thing that needs to be independently sourced is the results themselves, which isn't what I've been trying to change.

SailGP[edit]

Hey, I just wanted to give you a shout-out for all of your recent work on the SailGP pages, they were pretty scanty before, but they look great now! You even made separate season pages and the template. It's really impressive, and as a fan it makes me so happy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.80.236.247 (talk) 03:16, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
